Birds at KASUMIGASEKI COUNTRY CLUB
#05
The center is the teal and mallard, and in some cases the teal remained from November to May depending on the year, and the total number exceeds 100 birds. Mallards stay from November to March, and it is thought that the maximum number of mallards is about 80. In the past, wigeons and tufted ducks also appeared, but recently they have not appeared, and instead gadwalls are on the 10th and 18th holes of the eastern course.
They(=gadwalls) are staying in a pond with a group of 10 or more birds. In March 2020, a northern shoveler appeared in the pond outside the 14th hole of the east course, which was the first record.
